Program: Dumpster Drummers ''Recycled Rhythm''
The Dumpster Drummer’s program was an outstanding interactive assembly for our students. The students enjoyed seeing all of the different pieces that the Dumpster Drummer’s used to make music. The student’s also learned about the different types of ways that music could be made. The steel drum example was especially powerful because the students were able to see and hear its sound.
The recycling program that was given along with the musical performance drew on student’s personal experience with recycling. Kira “The Recycling Genius” put on a great performance and the students were engaged for her entire presentation.

Program: “Recycled Rhythms” making music with household items from a barbeque grill to skillets and water jugs.
Thank you Larry for providing a fun and educational experience for the students at Adams Elementary School. Using the barbeque items was a very creative and exciting way to present rhythmic concepts to students. Students could not stop talking about the fun they had in your session! They also continue to report all of the ways in which they have created 'drum sets' and music with things at home! We can't wait to have you back again!

Program: ‘Music with Household Items”
Larry performed and taught as part of our Fine Arts Week for the second grade. His program, ''Music with Household Items'', was clever and engaging. Larry made sure each child participated and created music in one way or another & created a climate of curiosity for each class he saw. From the moment they walked in, the kids were caught up in his presentation, wondering what we were going to make music with next. The grill? Wooden spoons? A hamburger?! It was so fun and creative.
